Welcome to VelvetWorld ("VelvetWorld," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile-friendly web app, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We may ask you to verify your age and identity at any time, and we may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe belong to a minor. Models must be at least 18 and must pass an ID-based age and identity check before being approved. We have zero tolerance for any content involving minors; it is reported to the authorities.

2. Nature of the Service

VelvetWorld is a companion chat platform that connects Users with Models for paid text chat, voice calls, and video calls. VelvetWorld is not a dating or matchmaking service, does not guarantee any romantic or physical outcome, and does not arrange, facilitate, or endorse in-person meetings between Users and Models. All interactions on the Service are conducted virtually. VelvetWorld does not offer escort services, and any attempt to use the Service to solicit or arrange in-person paid companionship is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account (including your name, age, and address where requested) and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Coins, Payments & Billing

• VelvetWorld operates on a prepaid virtual currency ("Coins"). Coins are the only thing you pay for with a card. Optional subscriptions to a Model's exclusive content are paid with Coins, run for the period you choose, and do not renew automatically.
• Coins are purchased through our third-party payment processor and are priced as shown at checkout. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice, though changes will not affect Coins you've already purchased.
• Coins are used to pay for chat messages, voice calls, video calls, and optional sticker gifts, at the rates displayed in the app.
• Coins are generally non-refundable once purchased, except as described in our Refund Policy or where required by applicable law. Coins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred between accounts, or used outside the Service.
• If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is reviewed. Please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.
• All payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment processor. VelvetWorld does not directly collect or store your full card details.

5. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree that you will NOT:

• Share or request email addresses, phone numbers, social media handles, messaging app details, or links to any website other than VelvetWorld, in an attempt to move the conversation off-platform;
• Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any other user or Model;
• Upload, send, or request any content that is illegal, exploits or endangers minors, or violates the rights of any third party;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose, including money laundering or fraud;
• Attempt to solicit in-person meetings, escort arrangements, or any transaction outside the Service.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of unused Coins, and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

6. Models

Individuals who wish to offer companion chat services on VelvetWorld ("Models") must submit an application and pass a screening process before being approved. Approved Models retain ownership of the photos and content they upload, but grant VelvetWorld a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform. Models earn a share of revenue from messages, calls, referrals, and gifts as described in their model dashboard, and may request withdrawal of their available balance subject to our verification and payout process. VelvetWorld reserves the right to adjust commission structures, pricing, and payout terms, with reasonable notice to affected Models.

7. Content Moderation & Privacy Protections

To protect our community, VelvetWorld uses automated systems to screen messages for prohibited content (such as outside contact information) and applies additional protective measures to photos and chat sessions, described further in our Privacy Policy and Content Moderation Policy. Billing disputes are handled under our Dispute Resolution Policy. These measures are provided as a safety feature and do not guarantee that all misuse will be prevented; please report any concerning behavior to us directly.

8. Intellectual Property

The VelvetWorld name, logo, design, and software are the property of VelvetWorld and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant VelvetWorld a license to use it as necessary to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. VelvetWorld does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You interact with other users at your own risk; VelvetWorld does not verify the identity, intentions, or statements of any user or Model beyond our standard screening process.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VelvetWorld and its owners, officers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to VelvetWorld in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
